We loved our experience with our team leader Cùa! So friendly and welcoming nothing was ever too much trouble he took such good care of us and made our experience truly unforgettable. We did 4d 3n and wish we could stay forever. The food was always fresh and massive portions! We couldnt have asked for anything else. We love you Cúa, peace, zho and hung for the trip of a lifetime

Absolutely loved this. I chose to ride and have my wife as pillion. We were part of a group of 8 bikes, all others were easy riders. The guides were outstanding, accommodation clean and safe, abundant food at meals, and the scenery just stunning. We would use Chestnut Travel again in a heartbeat. Great communication ahead, during, and after. The riding had some points that could be difficult for novice riders but for those comfortable on a bike, they gave variety and fun.

I had an absolutely amazing time in m the Ha Giang loop!! Chestnut travel made everything easy and I didn’t have to think too much about what my next step was. Hong Hao hostel was amazing and I am so glad I went with their company and drivers. Cùa was our group leader and my personal driver for the 4 day trip and cannot express enough how thankful I am to not only have been in his group but also have him as my driver. I felt so safe, had so much fun, and learned so much from him as well! He was super sweet, took amazing photos, and very knowledgeable about the area. I cannot recommend Hong Hao Hostel and Cùa enough. Such a magical trip that I will never forget, thank you Cùa and team for the experience!!

Amazing time. Would recommend it to anyone. Alex and the other bikers were so welcoming and safe, wonderful food and felt very accommodated throughout. Best tour out there!

Take an overnight sleeper bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang in Vietnam's far north and ride the roughly 350 km Ha Giang Loop by motorbike over 4 days. Pass dramatic mountain roads such as Quan Ba Heaven Gate and Ma Pi Leng Pass, take a boat on the Nho Que River and swim at Du Gia Waterfall. Explore ethnic minority villages and markets as well as Lung Khuy Cave to experience Ha Giang's nature and culture. Choose to ride your own motorbike or sit behind an easy rider; groups are limited to 12 people.

Leave Hanoi by night bus
and ride the Ha Giang Loop for 4 days

Get picked up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter in the evening, travel by sleeper bus to Ha Giang, and ride the roughly 350 km Ha Giang Loop by motorbike with a guide over 4 days. Round-trip bus, motorbike (including fuel), accommodation at a hotel in Dong Van and homestays in Du Gia and Nam Dam, and 11 meals are included. Choose between riding your own motorbike or sitting behind an easy rider.

Pass Quan Ba Heaven Gate on the way to Dong Van

The bus leaves Hanoi at 9:00 PM and arrives in Ha Giang city around 3:30 AM, where you rest for a few hours at the hostel. After breakfast, meet your guide and ride past Bac Sum Pass, Quan Ba Heaven Gate, Quan Ba Twin Mountains and Can Ty Pass.

After lunch in Yen Minh, continue via Tham Ma Pass and the H'mong King Palace and check in to a hotel in Dong Van. After dinner, stroll freely around the old town. The day covers about 155 km.

Cross Ma Pi Leng Pass and take a boat on the Nho Que River

On day 2, have breakfast at a local restaurant and visit Dong Van Sunday Market on weekends. Ride the Sky Path and the stunning Ma Pi Leng Pass, take a boat trip on the Nho Que River and see H'mong villages.

After lunch in Mau Due, pass Lung Ho viewpoint, swim at Du Gia Waterfall and enjoy a family-style dinner at a Tay homestay in Du Gia village. The day covers about 100 km.

Explore ethnic villages and Lung Khuy Cave

On day 3, visit Du Gia market (Saturdays), Duong Thuong viewpoint and Lung Tam village, known for hemp weaving. After lunch in Tam Son, stay at a homestay in Nam Dam village.

On the last day, explore Lung Khuy Cave with its impressive stalactites and stalagmites, and finish the tour at the hostel in Ha Giang around 5:00 PM. Take the bus at 7:30-8:30 PM and arrive in Hanoi around 2:00 AM.

※ Dong Van Sunday Market is visited on weekends and Du Gia market on Saturdays only.
