The food was, of course, delicious, and especially the cheerful and exciting atmosphere created by Chef Kitagawa and the excellent sous chefs made it even better. Thanks to the chef's interaction, the entire meal was enjoyable. The "monkfish liver" dish from the course was truly unique and delicious—by far the best I've ever had! This is a place I definitely want to visit again.

Oimatsu Kitagawa, which has been listed in the Michelin Guide for 10 consecutive years, is a Kaiseki restaurant where you can taste carefully selected seasonal ingredients from all over the country. Chef Kitagawa Tooru's Story
Kitagawa Tooru suffered from an incurable disease in which his wrist bones melted, and was advised by a doctor to give up cooking, but he did not give up due to his obsession with cooking and continued to become the owner of a Michelin restaurant as well as a complete cure.
