BESTThis bird park is simply marvellous
Singapore Mandai Wildlife,
Bird Paradise
There are four wildlife theme parks in the Mandai area, which you will visit at least once during your trip to Singapore. Among them, visit the new theme park Bird Paradise of Mandai Wildlife, which will open on May 27, 2023! It is a place where 3,500 birds of 400 species live. Come see the world's most colorful birds with your own eyes, such as the Rosegate Spoonbill, Scarlet Macaw, and Scarlet Ibis.
Visit Penguin Cove and have an immersive experience in the underwater kelp with the cute flightless birds, penguins. Come out to the rocky beach and watch the penguins waddle along. In addition, there are various other areas such as Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, and River Wonders, so it is good to visit them together.
Mandai's new park,
Bird Paradise
Meet the colorful birds at Asia's largest bird park. There are eight walking trails that will take you through a variety of biomes and beautiful landscapes. You can see over 400 species of birds living in various environments, including wetlands full of vegetation, a tranquil paradise with tall bamboo and rice terraces, and underwater kelp.
Opening on 8 May 2023, at Mandai Wildlife Sanctuary, next to Night Safari, River Wonders and Singapore Zoo. Regular opening day is 27 May, so don’t miss your chance to experience the new park before anyone else!
Caring for the Earth and protecting animals and nature
Mandai Wildlife Group is committed to action for a healthier world and works for the flora, fauna and nature around the world. They integrate all their wildlife parks into one-of-a-kind nature-based experiences, green spaces and eco-resorts to create a one-of-a-kind experience. That’s why when you come to Mandai in Singapore, you’ll encounter many rare and wild animals from all over the world that you’ve never seen before, making it one of the world’s most famous wildlife parks.
Let me introduce you to the theme park we're visiting!
For the above reasons, and because the parks are all located in one area, it would be a shame to only visit one. I will briefly introduce what is in the other parks.
1. Singapore Zoo
Embark on a wild adventure with over 4,200 wild animals from over 300 species. Experience the splendor of the African plains and enter the 20,000 cubic meter biodome that recreates a tropical rainforest habitat. Enter Reptopia, the ultimate reptile home, and meet many species of reptiles you would never normally encounter.
2. Night Safari
The world's first nocturnal wildlife park! Travel through six world regions on an open-air tram. Audio commentary is provided about the animals and areas, and you can sit back and explore the park. There are also trails that simulate wilderness trekking, with skilled hunters like fishing cats and special 'weird animals' like giant anteaters, armadillos and pangolins.
3. River Wonders
Asia's first and only river-themed wildlife park. You can meet over 11,000 terrestrial and aquatic animals of 260 species. Meet a large number of individuals in the world's largest freshwater aquarium. Experience an environment similar to an adventure along the Amazon River. Activities include boating along the Amazon and getting up close to nocturnal animals.
If you want to visit Singapore Zoo, Night Safari and River Wonders together, you can also check out the Singapore Wildlife Park Hopper Ticket, which allows you to choose the parks you want and enjoy multiple days.
Editor's Recommendation Reasons
Nowhere in the world is this wide and eco-friendly. If you are interested in various wild animals, I recommend visiting regardless of age or gender. From rare animals to wild animals, you can meet many friends that you usually have difficulty seeing in one place by theme, and depending on the park, you can go on a trip by tram, or if you want, you can feed the animals, get close to them, participate in attractions, and do things that you can only experience at Singapore Mandai Park.
Be the first to visit the new park, which has been transformed from an existing park to a new park after several years of relocation planning and the participation of experts!
