BESTAs a highlight of my trip to Portugal, I took a day trip to Sintra and Cascais from Lisbon. Since it was a small group tour, I was able to feel close to the guide and enjoy the atmosphere. The Pena Palace, a World Heritage Site, is like a fairy tale world, and is much more colorful than it looks in the photos! It's on top of a hill, so the view was amazing. We had some free time in the city of Sintra, and we were able to eat the famous "Piriquita" egg tarts. Afterwards, we went to Cascais, a seaside resort town with a calm atmosphere different from Lisbon. There were many beautiful beaches and cute cafes, and it was nice to stroll around leisurely. This tour is highly recommended for those who are visiting Portugal for the first time! We were able to efficiently visit places that would be difficult to get to on our own, and we used our time effectively.
