Myoshinji Temple,
Even the beautiful garden within it
In the past, there was a prince's mansion with a flower garden in this area, and it is said that beautiful flowers bloomed all year round and eventually it came to be called "flower garden."
His Holiness loved this place, built a palace here, studied Zen, and always prayed for world peace. This became the origin of Myoshinji Temple.
In particular, there is a beautiful garden called 'Supreme Court' within the temple. Although it is not normally open to the public, it is open during special seasons such as autumn leaves, and there are other areas that are always open. How about exploring a quiet shrine and feeling the peace?
Authentic meal served in a bamboo basket
You can enjoy the “Kyoto Bamboo Tofu Basket Set” for lunch at Hanagokoro, located on the same site as Myoshinji Temple.
The Korean table, neatly prepared with seasonal ingredients, is composed of comfort food that allows you to taste the original taste of each ingredient, so enjoy it to your heart's content while looking at the temple scenery!
