BESTJust to give you an idea of the atmosphere, it feels quintessentially "private and luxurious." Despite being located in the heart of Ginza's bustling streets, the interior is incredibly quiet and peaceful. They've even collaborated with TeamLab. I had the Saga beef, and it was delicious. The staff spoke a little English, which made it comfortable. They even kindly helped me take photos. This is definitely a place you should visit at least once!
A premium wagyu restaurant with a luxurious atmosphere
Ginza Sagaya
If you're looking for a great restaurant in Ginza, Japan, I recommend Sagaya. Enjoy seasonal dishes and Saga beef paired with wine. Enjoy a complete yakiniku course meal, complete with a salad made with farm-fresh vegetables, top-quality Saga beef steak with the chef's secret recipe, and even a Japanese Arita pot-cooked meal. Don't miss out on a single bite.
Chef Haruku Tadano
Sagawa, a restaurant run by Chef Haruku Tadano, offers a full-course meal featuring carefully selected ingredients from Kyushu, including Saga beef, paired with wine. Chef Haruku Tadano previously served as Sous Chef at Hotel Nikko Tokyo and currently heads Sagawa Restaurant.
Sagaya Ginza x teamLab
The restaurant's core concept is teamLab's digital art installation, "Worlds Unleashed and then Connected."
Interactive Art :
The concept is that when a dish is placed on the table, the "world" contained within it is liberated and spreads across the table and the entire space. For example, a flower blooming from one plate might expand across the table and walls, while a bird from another plate might perch on the same branch, creating a series of interactions.
Change of seasons :
As Sagaya specializes in Saga-gyu (Saga Wagyu) and seasonal ingredients, teamLab's digital art also changes with the seasons. Each season's scenery unfolds alongside the cuisine, with cherry blossoms in spring, lotus blossoms in summer, and autumn foliage in fall.
Satisfying the five senses :
Beyond the taste of the food itself, it offers a holistic experience that stimulates all five senses, with digital art unfolding before your eyes, soft background music, and Arita porcelain tableware with a 400-year tradition.
