BESTIt's so pretty and so fun! There was a lot to experience in each exhibition. It was an exhibition that anyone, regardless of gender or age, could enjoy.

A museum where the body and the work become one
teamLab Planets Tokyo
TeamLab Planets Toyosu, currently the hottest attraction in Tokyo, is a museum where you can experience the concept of "body immersion" through four massive art spaces and two gardens.
Audiences can encounter immersive, indoor-outdoor themed artworks, including massive, full-body works that envelop the entire body, and works that require the audience to remove their shoes and immerse themselves fully, becoming one with others and the world! Tickets sell out quickly, so reserve your spot in advance to experience the mystical experience of becoming one with the artwork's world.

As if I had become a part of the work,
teamLab Planets Tokyo
TeamLab envisions a world of boundless beauty. Where the boundaries between audience and artwork, self and others, and humanity and the natural world are broken down, only infinite beauty remains. Meet teamLab, the artist collective currently capturing the world's attention, in Tokyo.
While teamLab's work can now be seen around the world, including in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, the most notable location is undoubtedly Tokyo, the birthplace of their activities. Come see teamLab's work and hear their stories in this international city!
New works released in January 2025

On January 22, 2025, teamLab Planets Tokyo will undergo a major transformation, introducing a host of new artworks! With an area approximately 1.5 times larger and over 10 new artworks, there's plenty to see and experience. If you're planning a trip to Tokyo, a visit to teamLab Planets Tokyo is a must-see!
Introduction to Highlight Areas

- Forest of Movement : The rapidly spinning balls will stop the moment you approach them, and they'll bounce up the moment you step on them. Above all, if you step on balls of the same color consecutively, the energy bursting from them will spread throughout the space. If you continue to step on balls of the same color, a mysterious caterpillar will be born. And if you jump over balls of the same color and connect them until the end, all the balls in the space will explode at once, creating a wondrous scene of countless caterpillars. Experience this fantastical experience, as if you've stepped into a fairy tale, for yourself!
- Learn! Theme Park of the Future : Draw an airplane, a dolphin, a hawk, or a butterfly on paper. Watch your drawings transform into 3D and soar, and touch them to make them move faster or fly farther! You can even control your drawings using your smartphone for a unique experience.
- Colorful aerial climbing : Use floating ropes and poles to navigate a 3D space! Since this is a collaborative activity, you'll need to think carefully about which route to take!
* Please note that unlike existing art spaces, this is a complex three-dimensional space, so you must wear comfortable shoes instead of bare feet to experience it.

A truly immersive experience, barefoot

A defining characteristic of the Toyosu teamLab Planets exhibition is that I'm included in the artwork. I can sense the light's trajectory changing and dispersing according to my movements.
Because this is an immersive exhibition, you must remove your shoes, socks, and stockings before entering. Short skirts are not permitted due to the floor mirrors. While you can rent shorts on-site, for the sake of photos, it's best to come dressed up! Lockers are also provided, so don't worry about storing your belongings and enjoy the experience to your heart's content.
About teamLab Planets, Zones

TeamLab Planets Tokyo Toyosu is divided into Zones 1 and 2. Zone 1 has more to see, so I recommend exploring it first before moving on to Zone 2.
Introduction to the main exhibition:
The Infinite Crystal Universe
This is a truly beautiful place with sparkling crystals that change color depending on the light. Surrounded by mirrors on all sides, it's a prime photo spot.
This exhibition features carp swimming in the wake of a person walking on water. When the carp collide with a person, they transform into flowers and scatter. Experience the changing colors of the flowers with the seasons.
Matter Is Void - Fire
This is teamLab's first NFT artwork that anyone can download and own.
There are also a wide variety of other exhibits to see, and it usually takes about two hours to see all of teamLab Planets. So, I recommend setting aside plenty of time for your visit.
The highlight of the teamLab exhibition: the "Garden Area."

The highlight of this TeamLab Planets is the garden area. It's called the Sky Flower Garden, and all the advertising backdrops are set in the garden area.
What's truly amazing is that all these flowers are real, and they move up and down from the ceiling. While you can't touch them, seeing so many of them is a truly special experience.
