Looking at you wearing a kimono
Panoramic view of Tokyo
Skytree, the world's tallest free-standing tower, is a landmark visited by many travelers as it offers views of downtown Tokyo as well as Tokyo Bay and Mount Fuji. In addition to being the tallest in Tokyo, it has an ultra-modern design and is divided into 350m and 450m sections, so it has the advantage of offering views of downtown Tokyo from various angles. It also has plenty of fun elements, such as an aerial walk that gives the feeling of walking in the sky. You can enjoy a delicious meal while looking at the night view of Tokyo at the restaurant on the Tenbo Deck floor, and drink coffee at the Skytree Cafe.
The package also includes a one-day rental of a kimono, Japan's beautiful traditional clothing. Kimono rental shops have a variety of kimonos available, so you can choose the design you want.
Wear a beautiful kimono that lets you feel the local atmosphere of Japan, and don't miss out on a trip to Tokyo's Sky Tree and nearby Asakusa!
Tokyo's new landmark
'Sky Tree'
Tokyo Skytree, completed in 2016, is a new landmark in Tokyo that appeared 100 years after Tokyo Tower. Tokyo Skytree is a whopping 634m tall, making it the world's tallest self-supporting radio tower.
Tokyo Skytree was named Skytree, meaning 'a large tree reaching toward the sky', and is well known to have been designed by Japan's greatest sculptor, Kiichi Sumikawa.
Tokyo Skytree has observatories at heights of 350m and 450m, and on a clear day, you can see up to about 75km from the observatory, so you can even see Mt. Fuji. And at night, of course, you can see Tokyo Tower along with the sparkling night view of Tokyo, making it a must-visit place.
Take a walk along the heavenly corridor
The most famous part of Tokyo Skytree is the observation corridor located at 450m. The Skyline Corridor is a corridor that extends over a glass slope, giving you the feeling of taking a walk in the air. So even if you pay a little more money! I highly recommend visiting the 450m long observation corridor.
If you move along the observation corridor, you will reach Sorakara Point, the highest point at 451.2m high. It is also good to see this as well.
Introducing Sorakara Point.
Sorakara Point, the highest point that can be reached when moving through the observation corridor, is a space created as shown in the photo above. The geometric round shape feels mysterious thanks to the light and glass. And it's a very pretty place with its unique sense of space and floating, and a shape with a round earth motif.
Skytree 345 Musashi Sky Restaurant
Musashi 634, the highest restaurant in Tokyo at 345 meters above the ground, is a Tokyo cuisine where you can dine with a fantastic view of Tokyo. If you are traveling to Tokyo with your partner, be sure to visit Musashi 634 and propose.
Enjoying New Japanese Cuisine with a beautiful view will complete your perfect day.
Introducing Skytree Cafe
After enjoying the view from the 350m height of the tower, how about a glass of iced Americano with a great view at Skytree Cafe? You can enjoy a variety of menus, including coffee, various drinks, and original sweet snacks!
Enjoy Skytree more fun!
Tokyo Skytree holds a variety of fun events and events every month. Tokyo Skytree is currently hosting Skytree Yoga, where you can experience yoga at a height of 450 meters above the ground, in collaboration with the All Japan Yoga Federation.
There are also various other events, so be sure to check them out in advance by checking the event information before traveling!
I recommend Skytree souvenirs.
Tokyo Skytree Shop is a great place to buy a variety of travel souvenirs. In particular, ‘Tokyo Skye Fromage Sand’ is one of the most popular souvenirs. These cookies are covered in camembert-flavored white chocolate, and they're so pretty and delicious that they're great to give as a casual gift.
Don’t miss out on the traditional Japanese kimono experience!
