Completed in 2016, Tokyo Skytree is Tokyo's new landmark that appeared 100 years after Tokyo Tower. The Tokyo Skytree is 634m high, making it the world's tallest self-supporting radio tower. 

Tokyo Skytree was named Skytree with the meaning of 'a large tree stretching towards the sky', and it is well known that it was designed by 'Kiichi Sumikawa', Japan's best sculptor. 

Tokyo Skytree has observatories at heights of 350m and 450m respectively, and on a clear day, you can see up to 75km from the observatory, so you can see Mt. Fuji. And at night, you can see Tokyo Tower along with the glittering night view of Tokyo, making it one of the must-visit attractions.

Stroll through the Tembo Galleria

The most famous place in Tokyo Skytree is the Tembo Galleria on the 450m deck. The Tembo Galleria is a corridor that continues over a glass slope, where you can feel like you are taking a walk in the air. So even if you pay a little more! I highly recommend visiting the 450m Tembo Galleria. 

If you move along the Tembo Galleria, you will find the Sorakara Point, the highest point at a height of 451.2m, which is also good to see. 

Introducing Sorakara Point

Sorakara Point, the highest point that can be reached through the Tembo Galleria, is a space created as shown in the photo above. The geometric round shape feels mysterious due to the light and glass. And it's a very pretty place with a sense of space and floating, and a sculpture with a motif of the round earth.

After enjoying the view from the 350m high tower, how about a cup of iced Americano while enjoying the wonderful view at Skytree Cafe? You can enjoy a variety of menus, including coffee, various drinks, and original sweet snacks!

Tokyo Skytree hosts a variety of fun events every month. Skytree Yoga is currently being held at Tokyo Skytree, where you can experience yoga at a height of 450m above ground in cooperation with the All Japan Yoga Federation.

Traditional Cultural Experience, Making Matcha and Japanese Sweets

Asakusa's first experiential cafe! Experience making Japanese sweets and matcha at Chazen Cafe. It is an experiential Japanese-style cafe where anyone can easily make Japanese sweets and matcha, and is visited by many travelers. Here, you can make and taste seasonal Japanese desserts designed by a former Japanese dessert chef.

The staff will teach you in detail how to make Japanese sweets and matcha, so you can enjoy the class without worrying even if you can't cook.

Also, once you make a pretty-shaped snack, you can make your own matcha through a tea ceremony experience. You can choose your favorite sweets, tea bowls, and plates and take pretty pictures, which will add to the fun!
