Where Cultures Meet,
Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture
The Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture showcases the history of cultural exchange from the opening of the port of Nagasaki to modern times through the exhibition of many cultural properties. You can also enjoy a play that recreates the scene of a trial at the time in the courtroom called Oshirasu.
In addition to various cultural property exhibitions, you can see, hear, and learn about history in a wide range of ways through special exhibitions and experiential exhibitions that are newly updated each time.
We highly recommend it to those visiting Nagasaki, especially if you go with children, you can have an educational and more beneficial time!

Full of diverse exhibitions and fun experiences
Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture
The Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture is one of the few museums planned around the history of Japan's international exchange. Therefore, it is an important museum that you should definitely visit.
The museum has an extensive historical record and collection of art and crafts that tell the story of Nagasaki, the only gateway Japan opened to the outside world during its period of isolation, so you can see the deep history at a glance.
In addition, part of the Nagasaki Bugyousho (local government office of the central government during the Edo period) has been faithfully reconstructed based on historical materials, so visitors can experience the atmosphere of the Japanese feudal era, making it an even fresher experience.
In addition to cultural property exhibitions, various events and experiential exhibitions are being held, so why don't you leave with WAUG right now~?
