BESTI booked this because I wanted to do a unique activity with my friends, and it was a really fun and fulfilling time! Starting with a market tour, explaining each ingredient individually. It was nice to be able to see and choose local ingredients directly. Even though it was my first time cooking it The instructor was kind and taught slowly, so I was able to follow along without difficulty. The homemade pad thai, tom yum goong, and green curry were all delicious!! You can learn about Thai culture while cooking. It wasn't just a simple class, it was a special memory of the trip. The recipes I received after class were also neatly organized. I definitely want to try it again when I go back to Korea hehe For those of you coming to Bangkok, if you like food, I highly recommend this cooking class!
A new day in Bangkok
Arun Thai Cooking Class
Introducing the Arun Thai Cooking Class, a unique opportunity to experience Thai culture and local life firsthand. You can choose between a morning or afternoon class, and the highlight of the class is a tuk-tuk ride to the vibrant Pran Nok Market. Spend a rewarding time shopping for fresh ingredients, cooking your own meals, and sharing your creations with others. Your guide will share fascinating stories about Thailand's unique market culture and dining etiquette, while you learn about its history and traditional Thai culture. Savoring the sweet coconut rice pancake "Khanom Krok" will be an unforgettable experience.

Make it yourself
Thailand's most popular menu
In this cooking class, you'll learn how to make and taste popular Thai dishes. Experience a variety of traditional Thai dishes, including spicy and sour Tom Yum Kung, one of the world's top three soups; Pad Thai Kung, Thailand's national dish; Massaman Chicken Curry with its delicious, smooth coconut milk; and Mango Sticky Rice, a delightful combination of sweet mango and chewy sticky rice. From selecting fresh, local ingredients to cooking and sharing a meal together, you'll experience a truly immersive experience in Thai food culture. The joy of cooking and the satisfaction of sharing the deliciousness of your hard work are truly unique and heartwarming experiences found only in this class.
To feel the market atmosphere

If you'd rather experience the market atmosphere than participate in the cooking yourself, joining a morning or afternoon market tour is a great option. Take a tuk-tuk to Pran Nok Market and sample traditional Thai snacks while listening to explanations from an English-speaking guide. After the market tour, you can observe a cooking class, but you won't be able to cook or eat together. Still, simply observing the vibrant atmosphere and diverse ingredients of the local market is a fun experience. Imagine using the ingredients you've purchased to create a new dinner that day, and you'll have a truly unique experience.
