What is the Special Observatory?

Tsutenkaku has two observatories: the regular observatory (87.5m) and the special outdoor observatory (94.5m). While the regular observatory offers a stunning view of the city, we recommend visiting the special observatory for an even more thrilling experience.

At the Tenbo Paradise, the special observatory, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Osaka and experience Tip The Tsutenkaku, a special installation unique to the special observatory. Be sure to take amazing photos while standing on Tip The Tsutenkaku, which is 5.4m long and 1.5m wide!

How to Use the Hankai Tram

1. Pick up your physical ticket at the Tsutenkaku 1F Ticket Center.
2. Before using the Hankai Tram, scratch off the year, month, and day of use with a coin (scratch-off paper ticket).
3. When boarding, enter through the back door and present the paper ticket to the driver when getting off.

* Only one spot for each of the year, month, and day should be scratched off on the paper ticket. Tickets with two or more spots scratched off will be invalid.
