Commemorating the 100th anniversary of Gaudí's death, the Naked Meets Gaudí exhibition is not just a Gaudí exhibition, but the world's first world tour exhibition planned in official collaboration with the Gaudí Foundation. The exhibition features original drawings of the Sagrada Familia, his handwritten notebooks, letters, work tools, and even never-before-seen sketches and models, allowing visitors to closely contemplate how he envisioned the architecture. Furthermore, Naked's signature projection mapping and immersive digital presentation allow visitors to personally complete sections of the Sagrada Familia or experience the curves, light, and colors Gaudí discovered in nature with their whole bodies. Its biggest appeal lies in the fact that it feels like an architectural exhibition, media art, and experiential exhibition all rolled into one.

Gaudí's century-old inspiration is reborn through Naked's production.
Antoni Gaudí, the architect who designed Barcelona's iconic Sagrada Familia. The Naked Meets Gaudí exhibition commemorates the 100th anniversary of Gaudí's death and the completion of the Sagrada Familia's long-under-construction main tower, the Tower of Christ. As the world's first exhibition to be officially licensed by the Gaudí Foundation, it brings together previously unavailable artifacts from the Foundation's collection, making it a truly special exhibition.
The exhibition space features Gaudí's handwritten diaries and letters, drafting tools he used, original drawings of the Sagrada Familia, and elaborate models along the tour route. Through never-before-seen materials rarely seen even in Spain, visitors can closely follow how Gaudí transformed natural curves, light, and geometry into an architectural language, and how this imagination was realized in the cathedral's towers and façade. There's also a corner where psychological research analyzing handwriting reveals Gaudí's personality and inner world, offering a fascinating three-dimensional understanding of the architect himself.
Above all, Naked's experiential production makes this exhibition truly special. Amidst massive projection mapping and sound effects, visitors experience a sense of space as if they've stepped inside the cathedral, and through interactive installations, they can participate in completing a part of the Sagrada Familia. This exhibition allows visitors to simultaneously experience the colors and light of nature, which Gaudí loved, and the temporality of the "unfinished cathedral," which is still under construction, with their eyes, ears, and fingertips. This is a highly recommended experience for anyone interested in architecture, as well as those who enjoy media art and immersive exhibitions.
Area Introduction

The beginning of the journey
It's a prologue structure that goes back in time from the end of a man named Gaudi to the beginning.
Layers of video and spatial presentations unfold, taking viewers on a slow, gradual journey from Gaudí's death to his childhood, adolescence, and his beginnings as an architect. Passing quietly through a dark space, the viewer is led to ask, "What kind of world did this man see?" This area serves as the opening scene for the entire exhibition, opening the mood.

Memories of the Shade of the Forest — The Forest of Reus, Gaudí's Hometown
It was the Catalan sun and the dense green forests of his hometown of Reus that fostered Gaudí's sensibility.
This area tells the story of how his childhood gaze, which discovered order and beauty in natural details such as the curved lines of tree branches, insect wings, and the spirals of flower petals, later became the roots of his architectural philosophy.
As you walk through the forest-like space where light and shadow intertwine, you can experience the forest of observation that Gaudi saw.

Barcelona, a crucible of creativity
This section covers Barcelona in the late 19th century, a time of post-Industrial Revolution fervor and energy.
This city, a melting pot of cultures, people, and technologies from around the world, was the very crucible of creativity that fostered Gaudí's originality. The works recreate the sounds, colors, and rhythms of the streets within the space. Visitors experience the vibrant atmosphere of Barcelona through a fusion of light, sound, and video, and experience how this energy flows into Gaudí's architectural world.

The Workshop of Discovery — The Plinicula Experiment, In Search of the Invisible Order
This area deals with the process by which Gaudí sought to discover the principles of structure within the laws of nature, such as the experiment of an upside-down model (pnical model) made by hanging thread and weights.
Here, visitors can draw lines and create shapes, moving between digital and analog, creating structures of power and balance that were previously invisible to the eye. This laboratory-like space offers a workshop experience, allowing visitors to experience Gaudí's approach, which was closer to discovery than sculpture.

Organic Sea – The Rhythm of Light and Waves Breathing in Park Güell
This area is one that breathes the breath of the sea with the organic curves and flowing spaces seen in Casa Batlló, Casa Mila, and Park Guell.
Reflected light, rippling projections, and organic, curved structures combine to reveal how architecture constructed from inorganic materials can feel like a living organism. Visitors walk among light and waves, experiencing Gaudí's sensibility as a living architecture that transcends the boundaries between inorganic and organic matter.

Sagrada Familia - Cathedral of the Eternal Sun
This section centers around the Sagrada Familia, an unfinished cathedral that has been under construction for over 100 years.
This area, like a light record, chronicles the cathedral's birth, transformation, and continuation, from its initial design to the present day. Through the colors filtering through the stained glass and the changing light that changes with the time of day, visitors are led through the passage of time through the Sagrada Familia, a cathedral that, because it was never completed, continues to live.

Seeds of the Future—Gaudi's Spirit Spreading Around the World
This final area focuses on the fact that what Gaudí left behind was not just architecture, but a way of thinking.
We introduce how contemporary architects and artists are inheriting and expanding Gaudí's philosophy in their own unique ways, and how its influence is spreading around the world. Through messages from various creators who admire Gaudí, we can sense how his ideas are planting seeds for our times.
