From Melbourne: Great Ocean Road 12 Apostles Sunset Tour

Set off on the classic route
and enjoy morning coastal views

Depart from one of 3 pickup points in Melbourne and drive the classic Great Ocean Road route along the coast in the morning. Take a 30-minute break at the chocolate factory in Anglesea for coffee and breakfast.

Next, stop at a hidden lookout with sea views (20 minutes) and the Memorial Arch at Eastern View (20 minutes), which honors the soldiers who built the Great Ocean Road, then enjoy the ocean views during a 20-minute break in Lorne.

Have lunch in Apollo Bay
and look for wild koalas

Enjoy lunch with sea views in the coastal town of Apollo Bay for 1 hour (at your own expense). Then head to an area near the Barham reserve for an 80-minute walk to spot wild koalas in the trees. It is not a zoo, so there is no extra fee.

Admire the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge

Spend 50 minutes at the 12 Apostles, limestone stacks rising from the Southern Ocean, and 30 minutes at Loch Ard Gorge with its steep cliffs and quiet beach. Loch Ard Gorge is named after a shipwreck in 1878.

Visit London Bridge and return to Melbourne

Finally, spend 20 minutes at London Bridge, rarely visited on regular tours. There is a chance to see the sunset near the 12 Apostles coast, and you arrive back in Melbourne around 8:00 PM.

※ Wildlife lives in the wild, so sightings cannot be guaranteed.
※ Sunset viewing may vary depending on the season and weather.
