This is a small-group tour for up to 8 people, departing from Strasbourg to explore the top highlights of the Alsace region in one day. Walk through the Old Town of Colmar with your guide to see Pfister House, Koïfhus, St. Martin's Church, and Little Venice. Stroll among 16th-century houses in the walled fortress village of Riquewihr, drive along the Alsace Wine Route, and explore the 12th-century Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle with your guide. Enjoy a comfortable journey in a minivan with your driver-guide taking care of all the transportation.

Meet in front of the Strasbourg Tourist Office in the morning, and take a 1-hour minivan ride to your first destination, Colmar. Spend about 2 hours walking through the Old Town with your guide, visiting the Pfister House, Koïfhus (the old custom house), St. Martin's Church, and the picturesque Little Venice area. There will also be free time to explore on your own.

Next, travel to the fortified village of Riquewihr, surrounded by medieval walls. Having survived wars, this village preserves its historical charm with narrow alleys, defensive walls, and beautifully preserved 16th-century houses.
After exploring the village, enjoy about an hour of free time to wander further or grab lunch. Please note that lunch costs are not included.

After lunch, admire the rolling vineyard landscapes as you drive along the Alsace Wine Route, which stretches for over 170 km through the hills between the Rhine Valley and the Vosges Mountains.

Finally, arrive at Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, perched on a hill overlooking the valley, and take a 1.5-hour guided tour. Built in the 12th century, this castle was a strategic stronghold protecting the wine and wheat trade routes to the north and the salt route coming from the east. After the tour, board the minivan for your return to Strasbourg.
