Highlights
This is a 30-minute scenic helicopter flight over the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns. Fly over Green Island, Arlington Reef, Vlasoff Cay and Upolu Sand Cay and look down on the blue and green hues of the clear coral sea and its thriving coral gardens. Fly over Green Island and the reef for 30 minutes
Spend 30 minutes flying over Green Island, Arlington Reef, Vlasoff Cay and Upolu Sand Cay. Take in the blue and green colors of the clear coral sea and the coral gardens below, with great photo opportunities.
Look for marine life from the sky
Large marine life is easiest to spot from above. You may see sea turtles, sharks, manta rays, dolphins and dugongs, and from July to September, humpback whales migrating from Antarctica to the warm tropical waters.
