Deluxe Lake Spa on Lake Rotorua

The Deluxe Lake Spa is the family-friendly bathing area of Polynesian Spa, overlooking Lake Rotorua. Of the five lakeside outdoor pools surrounded by gardens and rocks, one is covered and one is partially covered. Water temperatures range from about 36 to 41°C.

Choose from five different mineral pools

The four Rachel Spring alkaline mineral pools are shallow, about 0.7 m deep, kept at 38–41°C, and are known for softening the skin. The single Priest Spring slightly acidic mineral pool is known for easing muscle aches.

A cold plunge pool is also available, so you can alternate between hot and cold for a refreshing feeling.

Relax on geothermal loungers and in the indoor lounge

Next to the pools are 10 geothermally heated loungers where you can lie back and enjoy the quiet surroundings. You can also rest before or after bathing in the spacious indoor lounge overlooking the lake and gardens.

Use the well-equipped changing rooms

The changing rooms provide safety lockers, towels, toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion, and hair dryers. Adult swimwear can be rented or purchased at the Spa Essentials Shop.
