Pavilion Pools for ages 12+
The Pavilion Pools are a historic bathing area within Polynesian Spa, open only to adults and guests aged 12 and over. Soak in geothermal mineral water from two natural springs across several pools at different temperatures.
Choose between acidic and alkaline pools
The three Priest Spring acidic mineral pools are kept at 39–41°C and are known for helping relieve muscle tension and aches. The three Rachel Spring alkaline mineral waterfall pools are 38–40°C and are known for softening the skin. There is also a 40°C alkaline pool overlooking Lake Rotorua.
Loosen up in the deep stand-up pool
The 1.3 m deep Rachel Spring alkaline stand-up pool, heated to 38°C, lets you move gently or stretch while standing.
Walk the reflexology path
The reflexology walk is a stone path designed to stimulate pressure points in your feet linked to key areas of the body. Spacious changing rooms with private cubicles are available, and lockers, towels and swimwear can be rented on site. Free storage bins are provided if you do not need a lock.
