Highlights

Depart from Calgary for
the Canadian Rockies in any season
Depart from the pickup location you chose in Calgary, Banff or Canmore and travel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Pass Castle Mountain, take a 20-minute break at Lake Louise Village, pass the Crowfoot Glacier viewpoint and spend about 20 minutes taking photos at Bow Lake. The tour runs year-round, and stops are adjusted to the season and road conditions.
Walk toward the Athabasca Glacier
From May to the end of September, enjoy a short walk of about 1 hour with your guide toward the Athabasca Glacier viewpoint. See the mountain scenery of glaciers and permanent snow up close.
See waterfalls and turquoise lakes
Visit Sunwapta Falls (about 40 minutes) and Tangle Creek Falls (about 15 minutes), then stop at the Waterfowl Lakes viewpoint (about 20 minutes). Finally, spend about 1 hour at Peyto Lake enjoying the turquoise water before returning to Calgary. Complimentary snacks and drinks (water, coffee, lemonade and tea) are served at one of the stops.
Visit alternative highlights in winter
In the colder months, some waterfalls, viewpoints and sections of the Icefields Parkway may be unavailable due to snow, ice, road closures, limited daylight or safety reasons. In that case, the tour visits accessible places such as Abraham Lake, Lake Louise, the Bow Lake viewpoint, Peyto Lake, Bow Falls and Banff town. Ice cleats are provided in the winter season.
