From Calgary: Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Johnston Canyon & Banff Town Day Tour

Depart from Calgary, Canmore or Banff
and head into Banff National Park

Depart from your booked option's location, downtown Calgary (7:45 AM), Canmore (9:10 AM) or Banff (9:30 AM), and travel west into Banff National Park. The tour lasts about 8 to 10 hours, led by an English-speaking guide in an air-conditioned vehicle.

Visit Lake Louise and Moraine Lake

Start the day at Lake Louise, where turquoise water shimmers beneath the Victoria Glacier and the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Then continue to Moraine Lake, surrounded by the Ten Peaks, to take in the view.

Walk the canyon trail at Johnston Canyon

After lunch in Lake Louise Village (meal cost not included), head to Johnston Canyon. Walk the steel catwalks along the canyon walls to see waterfalls and limestone cliffs carved by water over centuries, with about 2 hours and 15 minutes for hiking and photos up to the Upper Falls according to the itinerary.

Finish at Vermilion Lakes and Banff town

At the Vermilion Lakes viewpoint, see Mount Rundle and the surrounding landscape reflected in the lake. Back in Banff town, spend about 45 minutes browsing shops and cafés on Banff Avenue before returning to your original pickup location.
