The winter itinerary (October 12 to April 30) heads north from Banff along the Icefields Parkway, starting with Abraham Lake. From December 1 to March 31, weather permitting, see the famous ice bubbles and walk on the ice with free snowshoe rental. Outside this period, the tour visits Sunwapta Falls and Athabasca Falls instead of Abraham Lake.
