Highlights
Get picked up from your Tokyo accommodation and travel to a paragliding site in Shizuoka with views of Mt. Fuji for a tandem flight. You fly with a qualified tandem pilot, so no previous experience is needed. Soar over mountains, valleys, rivers, lakes and forests, and on clear days enjoy views of Mt. Fuji. The experience runs as a private group with round-trip transportation included.
Program
Depart from your Tokyo accommodation
to the paragliding site
After pickup from your selected accommodation in Tokyo, ride in an air-conditioned vehicle for about 2 hours through the Japanese countryside to a paragliding site with views of Mt. Fuji.
Get a safety briefing and prepare for your tandem flight
On arrival, an experienced, qualified tandem pilot gives a full safety briefing and checks the equipment. No previous experience is required. After a short introduction, you are secured in a harness connected to your instructor and get ready for takeoff.
Look down on Mt. Fuji,
mountains and lakes from the sky
Take off gently from the hillside and fly over fields, forests, mountains, valleys, rivers and lakes. On clear days, you can also enjoy views of Mt. Fuji. After the flight, take some photos and enjoy the scenery before returning to Tokyo by vehicle in about 2 hours.
※ Views of Mt. Fuji depend on the weather and are not guaranteed.
