An English-speaking host explains the history, sacred rituals and signature techniques of sumo, and you watch an authentic training demonstration and a one-round bout right in front of you. If you wish, you can even step into the ring and challenge a sumo wrestler yourself. It is a roughly 1.5-hour experience that first-time sumo viewers can enjoy for both its culture and its fun.

This sumo show takes place at Sumo Studio Osaka in Nishinari-ku, Osaka, and lasts about 1.5 hours. An English-speaking host walks you through the rich history, sacred rituals and signature techniques of sumo. Depending on the option, you can choose a daytime show or an evening show.
