Katsuo-ji, nestled in the mountains of Minoh in northern Osaka, is a temple known as the 'Temple of Winning Luck' with a history of more than 1,300 years. This product includes a round-trip bus between Minoh-Kayano Station or Hankyu Minoh Station and Katsuo-ji, plus Katsuo-ji admission, so you can easily visit by public transport from central Osaka. You can make a wish while looking around the countless 'Victory Daruma' dolls lining the offering shelves, and you can take the return bus whenever you like without booking a time. Enjoy different scenery each season, such as cherry blossoms and rhododendrons in spring, hydrangeas in summer and autumn foliage in autumn.

Board the bus at the bus rotary of Minoh-Kayano Station (Kita-Osaka Kyuko) or Hankyu Minoh Station, as set by your option, and head to Katsuo-ji. Show your purchased ticket screen to the driver when boarding, and show the same ticket screen at the temple entrance to enter. Based on the return timetable, the ride from Katsuo-ji takes about 25 minutes to Minoh-Kayano Station and about 35 minutes to Hankyu Minoh Station.

Katsuo-ji has long been worshipped as a temple for praying for victory, and leaders of their eras, including the Minamoto and Ashikaga clans, are said to have visited it many times. Even today, people from all over the world come to pray for success in life, including overcoming illness, business, exams, sports and romance.

The many 'Victory Daruma' (Kachi Daruma) dolls on the offering shelves were dedicated by worshippers who made a wish and, after it came true, offered them in gratitude. The 'winning' taught at Katsuo-ji is not about defeating others but about 'overcoming yourself'.

Katsuo-ji sits in the mountains of Meiji no Mori Minoh Quasi-National Park in northern Osaka, and its grounds cover about 260,000 square meters. Although it is about 30 minutes from central Osaka, it is surrounded by lush nature, with cherry blossoms and rhododendrons in spring, hydrangeas in summer and autumn foliage in autumn.

You do not need to choose a time for the return trip. After taking your time at Katsuo-ji, simply board any bus in service, and additional return-only buses run after the regular services. Please check the return timetable for each option in the option description.
