From Seoul: Elysian Gangchon Ski & Sled Day Tour

Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort

Depending on the option you choose, meet at Hongik Univ. Station Exit 8, Myeongdong Station Exit 4 or Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station Exit 9, then travel by bus to Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort (about 2 hours 15 minutes). An English-speaking tour guide accompanies you.

Ski and snowboard on
beginner-friendly slopes

Elysian Gangchon has 10 slopes, 8 of which are for beginners or intermediates (2 beginner, 1 beginner-intermediate, 5 intermediate, 2 advanced). Its slopes are gentler than those of other ski resorts, so more people can enjoy skiing comfortably.

The ski packages (ski + moving walkway, ski + lift) include ski equipment rental and a 1-hour basic ski lesson. The snowboard packages (snowboard + moving walkway, snowboard + lift) include snowboard rental and a pass, but no lesson. For safety reasons, the lift pass is not recommended for first-time skiers or snowboarders.

Go sledding or enjoy free time

The sled package includes sled rental, so you can enjoy sledding on the snow with your family. Children under 6 must ride with a guardian. The free-time package includes round-trip transportation only, without skiing, snowboarding or sledding. It suits travelers who want flexible time at the resort and mainly want to enjoy the scenery.

Spend about 7 hours at the resort
and return to Seoul

After about 7 hours at the resort, return to Seoul by bus (about 2 hours 20 minutes). The drop-off point depends on the option you choose. Due to traffic, the Hongik Univ. Station option does not return to Hongik Univ. Station and drops off in Dongdaemun (in front of Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Seoul Dongdaemun). To get to Hongik Univ. Station, take subway Line 2 from Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station.
