On the day of the tour, a local guide and private driver pick you up at your hotel in downtown Shanghai. Travel in an air-conditioned vehicle on a classic route of Shanghai's landmarks, which can be fully customized for your group.

Start the day peacefully at the Jade Buddha Temple

Spend about an hour at the Jade Buddha Temple, a traditional Buddhist sanctuary in the heart of Shanghai. Admire the exquisite jade Buddha statues and quiet temple courtyards as your guide shares insights into Chinese Buddhist culture and history.

Stroll along Wukang Road in the former French Concession

Next, head to the former French Concession and walk along tree-lined Wukang Road with its elegant European-style villas. Take photos at the landmark Wukang Building and hear stories of Shanghai's concession era. This stop is optional.

Explore the timeless Yu Garden area

Finally, visit the bustling Yu Garden area. Wander through lively old lanes, cross the iconic zigzag bridge and soak up the atmosphere of old Shanghai, with free time to try street snacks or browse the stalls.
