Ride a sampan along the canal at The Shoppes

Board at Level B2 of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and enjoy a roundtrip sampan ride along the canal. A rower guides the beautifully crafted wooden Chinese boat while you stay seated and take in the mall scenery. You may share the boat with other guests.

Make a wish as you circle the Rain Oculus

The Rain Oculus is an eco-friendly installation with a 22m-wide acrylic bowl that collects rainwater to fill the canal. Circle around it and make a wish. If you are lucky, you can see the water cascade up close, with over 22,000 litres of water released per minute from a skylight two storeys overhead.
