Meet more than 100 animal species, including rare and endangered ones such as Komodo dragons, orangutans and Bali starlings, at Bali Safari Park in Gianyar on the east side of Bali. The signature experience is the Safari Journey, a special tram ride through habitats where lions, zebras, rhinos, hippos and wildebeests roam freely. You can also watch animal, tiger and elephant educational presentations according to the schedule. Choose from packages with lunch or breakfast with lions, or the Night Safari with dinner and shows.

Program

Ride the safari tram
through wildlife habitats

The Safari Journey takes you by special tram into habitats designed for animals to roam freely. See deer, African hippos, wildebeests, lions, zebras and rhinos up close. You will also meet the park’s signature animals, including Sumatran elephants, tigers, lions, hippos and rhinos.

Watch animal presentations and shows

Animal educational presentations, the tiger (Harimau) presentation and the elephant conservation and education presentation take place according to the daily schedule. Learn about the animals through performances by the keepers and animals. The Bali Agung show is also held according to the schedule.

Have breakfast or lunch with a view of lions

The Breakfast with Lions package includes breakfast at Tsavo Lion Restaurant from 07:00 to 10:00, plus the Safari Journey, presentations and the Balinese Traditional Market. The Safari Lion package includes lunch at Tsavo and a souvenir, the Dragon package includes lunch at Uma, and the Rhino package includes a welcome drink and lunch.

Enjoy the Night Safari after dark

The Night Safari runs daily from 18:00 to 21:00. Ride a caged tram through the safari at night to see animals up close and feed them, and enjoy the walk-in safari. A welcome drink, dinner and the Rhythm of Africa show are included.

Meeting point information:
The park is on the main coastal road on the east side of Bali, between Sanur and Ubud, about 30 km from Ngurah Rai International Airport. It takes about 1-1.5 hours from the airport, Kuta or Seminyak, 30-45 minutes from Ubud, 30-40 minutes from Sanur, and 1.5-2 hours from Nusa Dua or Jimbaran. You can get there by taxi, ride-hailing app or car with driver; leave early to avoid traffic. Hotel pickup is not included.
