Start your surf lesson
with a 1:1 instructor at Kuta Beach
Meet your local instructor at 27 Surf School on Kuta Beach and receive your surfboard, rash guard and other gear. With the transfer options, you are picked up at your hotel and taken straight to the beach. The lesson is one-on-one and lasts about 1 hour 30 minutes.
Learn the basics on the beach
First, learn essential safety rules, paddling technique and how to stand up on the board on the beach. Your instructor demonstrates the correct surfing stance and how to position yourself on the board.
Head into the water and ride the waves
Once you have the basics, head into the sea. Your instructor stays right beside you, giving real-time feedback on balance and paddling and guiding you to stand up and ride a wave. After the lesson, relax on the beach or enjoy Kuta Beach until sunset.

Transfer options include pickup and drop-off from hotels in Legian, Seminyak, Kuta and Petitenget. Extra charges are paid in cash on site for Jimbaran, Canggu and Sanur (IDR 80,000), Batu Belig, Umalas and Kondangan (IDR 50,000) and Nusa Dua (IDR 100,000). For groups under 6, pickup is by scooter. Please check the voucher provided after booking confirmation for the exact pickup location and time.
