Had the best time! Luis was my instructor and he is just a great guy and was really helpful. He gave great tips and advice to help my surfing. But also made the session really fun and memorable. Definitely give this a go if you’re in Uluwatu

Onze privé surfles was erg leuk en leerzaam. In 2 uur tijd lukt het om op een surfboard te staan, en kun je al de kleinere golfen goed pakken. Dit komt omdat er echt de tijd wordt genomen om de techniek aan te leren. Deze uitleg is erg fijn en duidelijk. Luis was erg geduldig maar tegelijkertijd probeert hij je wel te pushen. Voor ons een van de leukste activiteiten van onze vakantie geweest!

Highlights

A 2-hour surf lesson with a professional instructor at Balangan, Dreamland or Jimbaran beaches around Uluwatu in southern Bali. It is a semi-private class with up to 2 students per instructor, so even first-time surfers get detailed coaching. The lesson starts with theory and safety training and takes place at the beach best suited to the day's waves and weather. A photographer captures you surfing in photos and video, and hotel pickup and surf equipment are included.

Program

Hotel pickup and
off to the best beach of the day

After pickup from your hotel, head to whichever of Balangan, Dreamland or Jimbaran beaches suits the day's waves and weather. Surf equipment, a rash guard, coral shoes and sunscreen are provided.

Start with theory and safety training

The 2-hour lesson begins with 15–20 minutes of theory and safety training. Learn the basic moves for standing on the board, how to catch waves, and the safety rules to follow in the ocean.

Ride the waves with your instructor

Each instructor looks after up to 2 students and helps you catch waves in the water. During the lesson, a photographer captures your surfing in photos and video. Lockers and showers are available after the lesson.
