Die erste Surfstunde mit Aldon war hervorragend. Er hat mir gezeigt, die Übungen am Strand. Anschließend sind wir ins Wasser gegangen und konnten zusammen surfen lernen hätte das Glück eine Einzelstunde zu haben, weil die andern Teilnehmer nicht erschienen sind.

Highlights

A surf lesson at the beach that best suits the day's waves and tides around the Uluwatu cliffs, such as Balangan Beach or Dreamland Beach. From first-timers to intermediate surfers looking to refine their skills, qualified local instructors teach at your level. With small groups of up to 6, your instructor stays right beside you in the water to check your technique and help you catch waves. Surfboards, rash guards and zinc sunscreen are provided.

Program

Gear up
and learn the basics on the beach

Meet your instructor at the meeting point and receive a surfboard and rash guard. Before entering the water, a 20-minute safety briefing and beach simulation cover the basics: paddling, catching waves, balance and popping up to stand on the board.

Paddle out into turquoise water and ride your first wave

Once you feel confident on the sand, paddle out to sea. Your dedicated instructor stays right beside you in the water, giving personal feedback, teaching you to read the waves and helping with your first rides.

Lessons take place at the beach that suits the waves

Depending on daily tides and waves, lessons take place at the best and safest spots in Uluwatu, such as Balangan Beach, Dreamland Beach and Jimbaran Beach. For safety, the lesson may move to another beginner-friendly beach in South Bali such as Mua Ya Beach; transport to an alternative location is not included.
