Program

Make your own chopsticks
at a workshop in central Osaka

The workshop takes about 1 hour at a studio near Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. During the first 15 minutes, you learn about Japanese chopstick culture and etiquette in a fun way.

Sand and shape them to fit your hand

Receive a piece of standard wood, feel its texture and shape it to fit your hand through sanding and polishing. The local instructor helps you at every step in English.

Finish with your own design

Add your personal touch with traditional techniques or oil and polish your chopsticks to finish. Take a commemorative photo with your work and bring the chopsticks home as a souvenir.
