Highlights
Tambara Ski Park in Numata City, Gunma Prefecture, is a beginner- and family-friendly ski resort whose motto is "friendly to everyone." It is about 2 hours by car from the Tokyo metropolitan area, and at an elevation of 1,250 to 1,550 m with plenty of snow, it usually offers a long season from late November to around Golden Week. Seven of its eight courses are for beginners and intermediates (about 80% of the slopes), so children and beginners can ski with peace of mind. This product is an adult 1-day ticket for unlimited lift use for one day.

Ride the slopes of Tambara

Exchange your mobile voucher for a 1-day lift ticket at the ticket counter in the Resort Center, then use the lifts all day. Seven of the eight courses are for beginners and intermediates, ideal for first-time skiers and snowboarders and families with children. The moderate slopes are also good for practicing snowboard ground tricks.
Woody Course, recommended for beginners
The recommended course for beginners is the "Woody Course." A long course with a maximum run of 2,550 m, it lets you ski a gentle slope with a good view for a long time.
Lakewood Course overlooking Lake Tambara
On the "Lakewood Course," popular with intermediate skiers, you can ski while looking down at Lake Tambara. The "Trial Course" for advanced skiers is great the day after snowfall for ungroomed powder snow.
Tamba Land, a snow playground for kids
"Tamba Land" is a snow playground for children. Kids who do not ski can also play in the snow.
