by private car
You'll be picked up by private car from any hotel, train station or airport in Chongqing, then spend about 10 hours visiting popular sights and photo spots with an English- or Chinese-speaking guide. Admission to sights, museums and temples, plus lunch and dinner, are all included. Within Chongqing city, you can change the plan or go wherever you'd like.
Discover the multi-level city, from Liziba Station to Hong'en Temple Park
Go inside Liziba Station, famous for its trains passing through a building, and spend 30 to 60 minutes sightseeing and taking photos. Then ride the Yangtze River Cableway from the north station to the south station and continue the tour by car.
Pass through Kuixinglou Square, which looks like ground level but is actually on the 22nd floor, then have lunch on Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and explore the city center for 40 to 60 minutes. At Hong'en Temple Park, take in the Chongqing skyline for 30 to 60 minutes, and also stop by the Crown Escalator, China's second-longest escalator, and Tongyuanzhiguang City Balcony.
Feel Chongqing's history in museums and old streets
Visit the magnificent traditional Chongqing People's Great Hall (15–30 minutes), Baixiang Street with its old residential buildings and graffiti alleys, and the Three Gorges Museum (15–45 minutes), which introduces Chongqing's history and Three Gorges culture. At Chongqing Art Gallery, a 3–6 minute walk from Jiefangbei, enjoy local art exhibitions for 20 to 30 minutes.
In the afternoon, drive about 20 minutes to stroll the riverside lanes of Longmenhao Old Street and Xiahaoli Old Street for 30 to 45 minutes, then visit Luohan Temple for 30 to 40 minutes.
End the day with Chongqing hotpot by the river
In the evening, head to a riverside park and enjoy Chongqing hotpot with river views. After dinner, a private photographer will take photos for you, and at the end of the tour you'll be dropped off at your hotel, train station or airport in Chongqing.
