Through the Chianti countryside to medieval Siena

Depart from Piazzale Montelungo in Florence by GT coach and travel to Siena, enjoying panoramic views of the Chianti countryside. In Siena, depending on your option, a professional guide joins you and leads a walk through the most important squares to the cathedral. Piazza del Campo, the heart of Siena, is a shell-shaped square famous as the setting of the Palio, a horse race held every summer. Siena Cathedral, decorated with white and dark green marble stripes, is a representative example of Italian Gothic architecture. Tuscan lunch and wine tasting in the Chianti hills

If you choose an option with lunch, you travel to a rustic winery or restaurant in the hills near San Gimignano and enjoy a typical Tuscan lunch with local wine tasting (about 80 minutes).

Spend free time in San Gimignano, one of the most famous medieval hill towns in Italy. Towers built by competing medieval noble families still rise above the town, earning it the name "town of towers", and its historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through cobbled lanes, small squares and local artisan shops.

End the day at Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa

Finally, spend free time in Pisa and see the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the monumental cemetery (Camposanto) and the famous Leaning Tower. Piazza dei Miracoli, where these buildings stand together, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then return by coach to Montelungo station in Florence.
