This day tour takes you by coach from Shinjuku, Tokyo, to Jigokudani Monkey Park in Nagano Prefecture. In the park, set in the middle of Jigokudani (Hell's Valley), you can observe the Japanese macaques (snow monkeys), famous for their hot springs, up close in their natural habitat. The monkeys are used to people, making it a great place for photos, and you can also enjoy the snow-covered valley scenery. For lunch, you'll taste Japanese beef sukiyaki at a local restaurant, and park admission and an English-speaking guide are included.

Meet your guide next to the 'LOVE' sculpture in front of the Shinjuku i-Land building and travel north by coach to Nagano Prefecture. The coach ride takes up to 3 hours 30 minutes, with 2–3 stops at rest areas along the way.

On arrival in Nagano Prefecture, enjoy a Japanese beef sukiyaki lunch at Shinshu Fruitsland for about 1 hour. If you would like a pork, vegetarian or vegan menu, please send a message when booking.

After lunch, a coach ride of about 30 minutes takes you to Jigokudani Monkey Park, where you'll spend about 2 hours. The walk from the parking lot to the park takes over 30 minutes.
In the park, you can observe Japanese macaques that are used to people up close in their natural habitat and take photos. For the safety and welfare of the monkeys, touching them, making eye contact or feeding them is prohibited.

If you travel during the designated period from around late January to the end of February, a visit to Kamakura no Sato, lined with illuminated snow domes, is also included. After the tour, the coach returns in about 3 hours 30 minutes and the tour ends in front of Tokyo Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
