Choose your favorite kimono
at the Shibuya Store
Visit the store on your booked date and time slot (12:00–12:30 or 14:00–14:30), show your QR code and choose a kimono. Women's kimonos come in 4 grades: Standard, One Star, Retro Modern and Retro Premium, and you can upgrade to a higher grade on site. Men can choose from a variety of designs available at the store on the day.
The store helps with dressing and hair styling
Experienced staff dress you step by step, from the undergarment to the obi (sash). Dressing takes about 20 minutes per person, and women can get a simple hairstyle for free. Accessories such as hairpins, lace decorations and maiko parasols, or special hair styling, can be added for a fee.
Stroll the streets of Shibuya in a kimono
Once you're ready, enjoy sightseeing freely in your kimono. From the store, MIYASHITA PARK is about a 2-minute walk, Shibuya Scramble Square about 5 minutes and Shibuya Mark City about 8 minutes, and Harajuku and Omotesando are a short JR ride away. You can leave one bag at the store for free, and return the kimono to the store by 17:30 on the same day.

About a 3-minute walk from the Miyamasuzaka Exit of Shibuya Station (JR Yamanote, Saikyo and Shonan-Shinjuku Lines) or Exit B4 of Shibuya Station (Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line, Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line). From the Miyamasuzaka Exit of the JR Hachiko Gate, turn right and cross to the left at the first traffic light, the Miyamasuzaka-shita intersection. Go straight past the Bic Camera main and annex buildings to the Shibuya Koyu Building, which has Hidakaya on the ground floor. Enter through the side entrance and take the elevator to the 10th floor.
