Start at Batu Caves and
see 25 Kuala Lumpur sights in one day
Depart from the meeting point or your hotel and head first to Batu Caves. Climb the colorful staircase to explore the Hindu temple inside a huge limestone cave. Then visit the National Palace (Istana Negara) and drive past the Parliament of Malaysia and the Merdeka 118 tower.
Pass gardens and mosques, then reach Merdeka Square and the old town
Pass the Perdana Botanical Gardens, the National Mosque, the Old FMS Railway Office and Brickfields, known as Little India. Stop for photos at Merdeka Square, the symbol of Malaysia's independence, look around the Kuala Lumpur City Gallery and travel along the River of Life.
Lunch at Old Malaya, then Chinatown and temples
For lunch, choose from local and international dishes at Old Malaya (at your own expense). In the afternoon, explore Chinatown with Petaling Street and Central Market for souvenirs, and visit Guan Di Temple and Sri Maha Mariamman Temple.
End the day at the Petronas Twin Towers and Thean Hou Temple
Pass the KL Tower, browse Beryl's Chocolate Kingdom and see batik making at Jadi Batek Gallery. Take photos at the Petronas Twin Towers, visit the National Monument and National Museum, then pass through the Golden Triangle and finish at Thean Hou Temple. Your local guide explains Kuala Lumpur's culture and history in English throughout the tour.
