At the scheduled pickup time, your English-speaking driver-guide meets you at the location you chose to start the tour. As you travel in an air-conditioned vehicle, your guide explains the history and meaning of each sight. You can choose a group tour departing from the meeting point, a group tour with hotel pickup, or a private tour.
Climb the 272 steps of Batu Caves
On the way to Batu Caves, one of Malaysia's most important Hindu shrines, your guide briefly explains the history and meaning of the temple as well as the dress code and etiquette. On arrival, see the golden statue of Lord Murugan and the 272 colorful steps leading to the temple cave, then climb to the top to enjoy the shrine set in limestone cliffs and the view.
At the East Coast Batik workshop, an optional stop on the itinerary, you can watch a demonstration of traditional Malaysian batik, with designs hand-drawn on fabric.
See the Royal Palace, the National Mosque and Merdeka Square
Take photos at Istana Negara, the King's official residence, with its grand building and royal guards at the main gate, then drive through the green Perdana Botanical Garden area. At the National Mosque, known for its umbrella-shaped roof, your guide explains its architecture and significance.
Pass the Moorish-style Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and Merdeka 118, then explore colonial-era buildings such as the Sultan Abdul Samad Building at Merdeka Square, where Malaysia's independence was declared in 1957. You can also take photos at the nearby I Love KL sign.
Finish at the River of Life and the Petronas Twin Towers
Take a short walk at the River of Life, the waterfront where the Gombak and Klang rivers meet, and at Belice Chocolate, a local chocolate shop and optional stop, taste Malaysian chocolate and pick up souvenirs. After taking photos at the Petronas Twin Towers, your driver-guide takes you to the drop-off point.

The bus departs punctually at 9:45 AM, and the maximum waiting time is 10 minutes. Guests who do not arrive within this time are treated as no-shows, and the bus will leave without waiting. As this is a group tour, pickup may be slightly early or late depending on traffic, so please wait a moment. The driver will contact you on arrival at the meeting point. The tour ends at the Petronas Twin Towers.

Meeting point information:
Pickup takes place at the hotel or designated pickup point you selected when booking. Free pickup and drop-off are available from hotels and residences within 3 km of the Petronas Twin Towers (most hotels). If you are staying outside the city center, take a taxi to Harriston Boutique - MATIC and wait there. If you want pickup from a hotel outside the city center, ask the local operator about the fee and pay it directly at pickup. Please wait in your hotel lobby from 10 minutes before the start time. The waiting time is only 5 minutes, and you will be treated as a no-show if you are not in the lobby on time. The tour ends at the Petronas Twin Towers. Please check the voucher provided after your booking is confirmed for the exact pickup location and time.

Pickup takes place at the hotel or designated pickup point you selected when booking. If you are staying outside the city center, take a taxi to Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur and wait there, or ask the local operator about the fee for pickup from a hotel outside the city center and pay it directly at pickup. Please come to your hotel lobby 5 minutes before the tour starts. Please check the voucher provided after your booking is confirmed for the exact pickup location and time.
