to the clear waters around Barasu Island

Meet your guide at Uehara Port or your hotel in the Uehara area and set off on the PiPi boat for the snorkeling point. You reach the site in about 10 minutes, and the guide picks the best point for the day's wind, tide and crowds. Even first-time snorkelers can join with peace of mind thanks to the safety gear and the guide's support.

Barasu Island, the "miracle island" made of coral

Barasu Island is a small island formed by piled-up white coral sand (barasu). It shows itself clearly at low tide, which is why it is also called the "miracle island," and it is known as a music video filming location. On this tour, you snorkel in the waters around Barasu Island, where the white coral island meets the emerald sea.

Get a briefing and swim among corals and tropical fish

On arrival, you get ready and learn how to use the equipment from your guide. Then you spend about 1 hour 20 minutes swimming in the clear sea, observing colorful corals and fish. You may also meet clownfish (Nemo) or sea turtles. For safety, all participants wear a life jacket throughout the tour.

Return to Uehara Port after the tour

Snorkeling ends around 11:00 (morning) / 15:30 (afternoon), and you arrive at Uehara Port around 11:30 / 16:00. Guests who used hotel pickup are taken back to their hotel. If your schedule allows, the afternoon session is recommended as it is usually less crowded than the morning.
