I was late, and he adjusted very well and the tour was still great. Don’t expect in depth technical things. It is a nice photo walking tour with chatting opportunities and good photo location. Great experience overall

This was three hours with time to calm from the heat and humidity. We were shown some delightful corners of Vietnams market life that many tourists simply do not see. Readily worth the time and effort and a really good host.

I had the best time this morning with Nguyen walking the streets and alleys looking for interesting photographic opportunities. I was able to discover places I would never have found myself. The pace was relaxed and we took rests as needed, and I could explore anything that caught my eye on our walks. At the end over a cold drink we looked over the shots we had all taken and discussed points of composition and lighting. It was a morning well Spent. Thanks!

I had such a great day with Nguyen! Before the tour he took the time to ask what I was interested in so he could tailor it to me, and it made such a difference. I came away feeling like I’d seen the real Hanoi. We wandered through hidden laneways, local markets and neighbourhoods that I never would have found on my own, and hearing the stories behind them gave me a completely different perspective on the city. I’m a complete photography novice, but Nguyen was so patient and shared lots of simple, practical tips that have already made me more confident taking photos. He’s genuinely lovely, easy to chat to, and you can tell how much he enjoys sharing both photography and his city with people. Without a doubt, this has been my favourite experience in Hanoi so far. If you’re even thinking about booking this tour, absolutely do!
