This 2 to 2.5-hour silver jewelry making class takes place at the Silver Soul Vietnam workshop on Ly Nam De Street in Hoan Kiem. An instructor with over 3 years of experience guides you through every step in English.

The class is designed for beginners, and every piece is 100% handmade. Each participant gets their own workspace, and groups are limited to 6. Classes run daily; choose a weekday or weekend session when booking.

Learn about Vietnamese jewelry history and tools

The class begins with the history of Vietnamese jewelry and the country's famous jewelry-making villages. You then get to know the materials and tools used in the work.

Do every step yourself, from measuring to polishing

Experience the basic skills used in the jewelry industry, including measuring, cutting silver, modeling, soldering, filing, hammering, sanding and polishing. You are introduced to several basic models suited to your level and choose your design from them.

Add your personal touch with letters and decorations

Engrave letters or numbers, create your own texture, or add flower or heart decorations to make a unique piece. After the workshop, you also receive photos with your creation.

Custom designs that take a long time need to be checked in advance to see if they can be made within the class. If not, you may need to wait longer or come back later to finish.
