From Ho Chi Minh City: Mui Ne Sunset Jeep Day Tour - Fairy Stream & Sand Dunes

for Mui Ne's dunes and sunset in one day

Meet by 7:50 AM at the meeting point on Pham Ngu Lao Street in District 1, take a transfer to the sleeper bus station, and travel about 2 hours 45 minutes to Mui Ne on the new expressway. You arrive around 11:30 AM and have 1 hour 10 minutes for lunch and rest before the jeep tour. At 12:45 PM, the jeep sets off for the Fairy Stream, a fishing village, the White Sand Dunes, and the Red Sand Dunes.

Walk barefoot along the Fairy Stream

Leave your shoes on the rack and walk into the cool, ankle-deep stream. You can see layers of different-colored sand along both sides of the small stream, and you can also ride an ostrich for an extra fee.

Visit a fishing village and the White Sand Dunes

At the fishing village, see the daily life of local fishermen up close. At the White Sand Dunes, explore the dunes and take photos, and if you like, enjoy an ATV (quad bike) ride or sandboarding for an extra fee. On the way, you also stop at viewpoints along the beach road.

Watch the sunset at the Red Sand Dunes

The Red Sand Dunes have gentler slopes than the White Sand Dunes, and the red sand contrasts beautifully with the surroundings, making it a great photo spot. After watching the sun set over the dunes, you return to the office around 6:10 PM for a local dinner. The bus departs around 6:30 PM and arrives back at the meeting point in Ho Chi Minh City around 10 PM.
