See Hue's highlights in one day

Your guide picks you up at your hotel in Hue city center at around 8:00 AM. Take a dragon boat to Thien Mu Pagoda, visit the Imperial City and a garden house, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then see the Khai Dinh and Minh Mang Tombs and the incense village before the tour ends around 4:30 to 5:00 PM. You travel by vehicle with an English-speaking guide.

Ride a dragon boat to Thien Mu Pagoda

Cruise along the Perfume River by dragon boat to Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hue. Home to a seven-story tower built in 1601, it is where you learn about the history of Vietnamese Buddhism and its importance to the local community.

Walk through the Nguyen Dynasty's Imperial City

The Imperial City was the seat of the Nguyen Dynasty, Vietnam's last dynasty, with about 100 monuments spread over 520 hectares. Explore with your guide the spaces where 13 emperors, their concubines, and eunuchs worked and lived.

Lunch of Hue specialties is served at a local restaurant from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Visit the Khai Dinh and Minh Mang Tombs and the incense village

The Khai Dinh Tomb belongs to the 12th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, who reigned from 1916 to 1925, and was completed in 1931. Its intricate decoration blends Eastern and Western architectural styles. The Minh Mang Tomb, resting place of the second emperor Minh Mang (1791-1841), is known for its landscape and Eastern architecture.

Take photos as you stroll through the conical hat village and the Thuy Xuan incense village.
