The Sky Tower is an observation tower about 135 meters tall, built on an 80-meter hill in 1989 to mark the 100th anniversary of Nagoya City. Its observation room, 100 meters up, sits 180 meters above sea level.

On a clear day, see not only Nagoya City but also the Central Alps, Mt. Ontake and the Suzuka Mountains in the distance.

See a Japan Night View Heritage site

Higashiyama Sky Tower is designated a Japan Night View Heritage site and is one of Japan's Top 100 Night Views. Admire Nagoya's sparkling night view from sunset into the night.

The Sky Tower is open from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM (last admission 9:00 PM) and closed on Mondays.

The Sky Tower sits right next to Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens, so you can explore the zoo and gardens together for a family day out.

The combo option gives admission to both the zoo and botanical gardens (9:30 AM to 4:30 PM) and the Sky Tower.
