Mount Batur is an active volcano in Bali's Bangli region whose past eruptions left vast black lava fields across its slopes. After hotel pickup, pass through Kintamani and ride a 4WD jeep up Mount Batur over hills of lava and black sand. The tour takes about 7 to 9 hours.

Black sand hills and volcanic views

Cross hills formed of black sand and lava and admire breathtaking island views from the volcano's edge. Try the black sand slide, and hear stories about the area's history and landscape along the way.

Through the forest to a natural hot spring

Explore the jungle and pine forests around the volcano, then relax in the warm waters of Batur Natural Hot Spring to finish the tour. A buffet lunch and bottled water are included.

Pickup times: Nusa Dua, Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak, Canggu 06:00; Ubud 07:00; Kintamani 08:00. Bring sports shoes, extra clothes, a hat, sunscreen and a camera.
