The Forbidden City was the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties and is a symbol of ancient China. Walking between its high walls and deep courtyards, you can truly feel its former glory. This is an English-guided join-in group tour of about 30 people, with a choice of 9:00 AM or 1:00 PM departures. Forbidden City admission tickets are not included.

From the Meridian Gate to the Three Great Halls

Start at the Meridian Gate, the main entrance, then pass through the Gate of Supreme Harmony to the Halls of Supreme, Central and Preserving Harmony. Your guide shares the architectural highlights and imperial anecdotes along the way.

Explore the inner palaces and Imperial Garden

Continue via Yanxi Palace to the Palace of Heavenly Purity, the Hall of Union and the Palace of Earthly Tranquility, where emperors and empresses lived, and end at the Imperial Garden. The exact route may be adjusted by the guide on site.
