Highlights
At Fragrance Studio "Kaori", which opened in Asakusa in November 2025, you choose by intuition from about 50 scents and make your own 50 ml fragrance. The scent ingredients are not named; instead the samples have unique names such as "Ex-Boyfriend", "3 AM" and "Elevator Hall", so you can focus on the scent itself rather than its name. Experienced staff help with the blending, and coloring and glitter are free of charge. After finishing you also receive a personalized production certificate, a commemorative photo and a logo pouch.
Program
Pick from about 50 scents by intuition
and blend your own fragrance
On arrival, show your voucher to the staff and check in. After an explanation of the precautions for the experience, you start as soon as everything is ready. You can take your time sitting down and smelling the scent samples in the shop without worrying about the clock.
Balance the scents and finish your fragrance
You complete your fragrance while thinking about the balance of the scents you chose. Experienced professional staff give advice on the fine blending, so first-timers can relax. The blending takes roughly 60–90 minutes.
Receive a commemorative photo and production certificate
When your fragrance is finished, staff take a commemorative photo and place it in a two-sided photo frame together with a production certificate bearing your name. The experience ends when you receive your fragrance and novelty gifts (such as the "KAORI FRAGRANCE" logo drawstring pouch), and you can take your fragrance home right away.
