Try Edo glass processing at GLASS-LAB, a glass processing and production workshop in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, Koto City, Tokyo. In a factory with more than 70 years of history, you make your own drip-free soy sauce dispenser. Combining function and design, it is great for use at home or as a gift. Since you never hold the glass directly in your hands while working, children can join with peace of mind.
GLASS-LAB is a glass processing factory about a 7-minute walk from Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station. Surrounded by the atmosphere of a factory with more than 70 years of history, you process glass using traditional techniques handed down since the Edo period. The experience takes about 1 hour.
The piece you make is a soy sauce dispenser that hardly drips when you pour. With both function and design, it suits everyday use at home as well as gifting.
You don't hold the glass directly in your hands while processing it, so children can take part safely. Beginners are welcome, and guidance is available in English and Japanese.
※ The flow may change depending on conditions on the day.
