We had an exceptional experience today! Absolutely everything went smoothly, the van was comfortable, we enjoyed the company of our fellow travelers and our guide, Luca, was so kind and knowledgeable. We felt so welcomed and pampered. Highly recommend this excursion!

I’m not normally a fan of group trips but this offered an easy and comfortable way to visit Pompeii with a guide and the bonus of Sorrento. The day was actually brilliant. The journey was super comfortable. We stopped outside Pompeii at a wonderful bakery for coffee and pastries. The Pompeii tour with Diana was interesting and she made it fun and relevant to everyday Roman life. Then on towards Sorrento with a stop for limoncello shots 🍋 Stopped at a lovely restaurant for a 3 course meal with wine / beer / soft drinks. Then journey home. Luca was our tour guide along with driver Denise. Both were kind and helpful to all of the group. Would thoroughly recommend even if tours are not normally your thing 👍🏼

We had a great trip and our guide Luca went all the way to give us a great day. It started with great pastries and the best coffee in town followed by the amazing tour in Pompeii and a scenic drive along the coast with great picture moments, a nice cooling fresh made lemon drink and some limoncello at a nice viewpoint. Topped up with a great Italian lunch at the beach. So if you book this tour ask for Luca to be your guide, he will endure that you have an amazing day!

Definitely worth the money. Leo was our driver and he was really good and attentive. Breakfast is really good Lunch even beter. Definitely worthwhile

This roughly 12-hour tour takes a minivan from Rome to the ruins of Pompeii and on to Sorrento. Entry to the Pompeii site and air-conditioned minivan transport are included, and an English-speaking driver and guide travels with you.

Start with an Italian breakfast in Pompeii

When you arrive in Pompeii, you have a cornetto and coffee at a local cafe (about 15 minutes).

Explore the ruins with a certified archaeologist

For about 2 hours, a certified archaeologist leads you through Pompeii. The highlights include taverns, villas, the Forum, bathhouses and plaster casts of people caught in the eruption. Entry to the site is included.

Enjoy the Sorrento coast and lunch

After Pompeii, you drive along the coast to Sorrento. The van stops for photos with coastal views (about 45 minutes), and you have an authentic Italian lunch in Piano di Sorrento (about 1 hour). You then take a scenic drive back to Rome.
